Margaret T. Hance Park is an existing 32-acre urban park originally built over the I-10 bridge in downtown Phoenix in 1992. This transformation project addresses Phoenix’s revitalization and continued growth needs. Improvements are in three phases and include an amphitheater, jogging loop, skate park, play structures, interactive water features, public art installations, shade elements, gardens, café, and public restrooms. This project also involves the investigation and repair of the Central Avenue bridge.
